I am a visual artist and digital creator from Ukraine.
Following the loss of my 18-year-old brother in the war, I initiated the project Silent Echoes – The War Diary. This video installation delves into the deeply personal and unspoken narratives of individuals affected by the war in Ukraine. Moving beyond traditional verbal communication, the project captures the raw emotions, memories, and experiences of participants through the universal language of the body.
In Silent Echoes individuals express their memories, sentiments, and reflections related to the war solely through their body language. Without verbal dialogue, participants convey the complexities of their experiences using subtle gestures, facial expressions, and movements to articulate the profound impact of conflict on their lives. The absence of spoken words adds a layer of intimacy, allowing viewers to connect with the profound and often unspoken stories of those touched by war. Each participant becomes a living canvas, painting their unique tale of resilience, loss, and hope through the silent poetry of their physical expression.
P:S.: I created several Object and Sculpture connected to the same subject – The war Diary. I am attaching few Photos and Videos I created.
